Christian Moreno has been an invaluable member of our district for over 17 years. Currently serving as a stock clerk delivery driver, he plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs, as well as managing our warehousing items.
He goes above and beyond, often volunteering to work extra hours to meet the department's needs.
Each day, his efforts ensure that over 5,000 students receive their meals. But Chris's contributions extend far beyond his daily duties. He actively participates in school and community initiatives, volunteering his time for various events such as our ELOP Program, Arts Festival, Parent Fair, and field day tournaments.
He readily steps up to lead students and assist co-workers, exemplifying exceptional leadership qualities.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was one of the frontline workers who ensured our community had access to food.
He actively engages with the local fishing community and has volunteered for the past 19 years as a soccer coach for the IVUSA recreational league.
He tirelessly supports his team, encouraging his players to excel both on and off the field.
Chris Moreno embodies the spirit of dedication, compassion, and community service. He is truly deserving of this recognition.
Congratulations, Chris Moreno, on this well-deserved honor!
