Hello and Welcome:

We have had a full schedule of enrichment workshops along with social dates with more to come. Fieldtrips have been very educational and exciting for our families including a visit to the San Diego Natural History Museum, San Diego Zoo, tour of Scripp's Institute of Oceanography and Birch Aquarium.  Our recent trip to Anza Borrego State Park gave us a true appreciation for our Imperial County's History, Geology, and contribution to Paleontology.  We would like to thank Ranger LuAnn Thompson who guided our tour sharing with us her wealth of knowledge and love of Anza Borrego. Last but not least, Jimmy and Judy Smith, volunteer Paleontologists at the Anza Borrego Research Center gave us much to wonder about and appreciate, including sharing with us their recent Mammoth fossils from a new dig site and a 2 Million year old Giant Land Tortoise fossil.

IVHSA families our End-of-Year Celebration at Waylon's World in Yuma is this Friday, May 24th, please contact Ms. Plourd if you will be attending.
