The relationship between nutrition and health is well documented. To assist the students of the El Centro Elementary School District in attaining optimal physical and mental development, the Child Nutrition Services Department has as its goal to provide a high-quality  nutrition program as an integral part of the total educational experience for our students.

Para asistir a los alumnos del Distrito Escolar de El Centro en obtener un desarrollo físico y mental optimo, el Departamento de Servicios en Nutrición Infantil tiene como meta proporcionar un programa de nutrición de alta calidad como parte integral de la experiencia total educativa para sus alumnos.
